Essence Lipstick in Creamy Nude

So once again I am blogging on my phone. Which I loooooove. But since it can be hard to upload multiple photos while on a mobile device I decided to use my smarts and said to myself "Cassidy, why don't you download an app that can create collages so all the pictures you want to show will upload as one?" I patted myself on the back for that one. So now you know, if you see a collage, it's. Mobile blog. Enjoy.

*side note* I already wrote this out and loveddd it! Somehow it got erased as it failed to upload. So I'm re-writing it. It's not gonna be as awesome or funny. Anywayyyyyy

This product can be found at ULTA, and is my new HG, favorite, obsessing over lipstick. I love Essence as a brand in general and think it deserves more press and acknowledgment and this lipstick should be the poster product.

Price- the price of this lipstick is insane! For a mere $2.50 you can own my favorite lipstick. I have paid A LOT more for a high end lipstick that ended up being crap. I suggest you go ahead, splurge a little and get.this lipstick

Packaging- I actually really like the packaging. It looks so chic and I love the color. Its supposed to actually match the color of the lipstick. I've heard some people say they don't like it because it feels really light so it feels cheap but to me that isn't a problem. I rather have a light feeling lipstick that looks really chic compared to a really heavy lipstick that will be weighing down my pocket.

Color- This is my perfect nude lip color. It's a neutral lipstick and when I stay neutral I mean The natural pigmentation of your lips changes the color so it won't be the exact same color on everybody. On me it becomes more of a brown nude shade than a pink nude shade. I always wondered why nude lipsticks never looked quite right on me and it was because I was always bought pink nude shades instead of brown nude shades.

Everything else- the pigmentation isn't as great as some other lipsticks. The color lasts about 2 hours before you have to reapply and I have heard from some other people that if your lips are un even with pigmentation that the color might not go on as evenly. I am lucky though because my lips are lightly pigmented and are evenly pigmented so the color goes on great. It is a cream lipstick so it goes on very smooth and has a glossy look and feel. Overall I am absolutely in love with this lipstick. It is my perfect nude lipstick and I recommend it to everybody. I believe that the fact that it doesn't last very long can be overlooked for how amazingly priced it is and how awesome the color is.

 Two thumbs up

Wet N' Wild Cougar Attack Nail Polish

So let me start out by saying I am posting this through my new phone. And all of the pictures were taken with this phone. And I happen to think that the pictures taken with this phone are better than the pictures I've taken so far with my actual camera. Which can make sense since this phone was more expensive than my camera. My boyfriend actually bought me the phone for the specific reasons that it has an amazing camera can take amazing hd videos and is basically like a little computer in your hands which will let me blog are post videos to youtube from wherever I am.
So let's get started, cougar attack by Wet N' Wild has to be one of my favorite new nail polishs this season. It screams Autumn  with the brown base and copper glitter and anything that has glitter in it just screams my name. After 1coat I was worried it wasn't going to live up to my hopes but with the second coat it was completely opaque and I got excited. The color looks exactly like it does in the bottle which can sometimes be hard when you're dealing with glitter polishes. I am so completely in love with this nail polish I think its hands down going to be my favorite nail polish that has come out this season. Check out the pictures below and you will fall in love with this polish as well.
Two thumbs up.

Review: NYX Ultra Pearl Mania Loose Eye Shadow

So I am pretty sure I'm in love with NYX Pearl Mania loose eye shadows. Initially I did only purchase these shadows for their brightness because I was looking for bright shadows to do rainbow eyes with and these run about $2.99 so I was excited to find something cheap just in case it didn't work, it wouldn't be a lot of money wasted like if I bought bare minerals. I was more than pleasantly surprised. I was ecstatic. The colors are true to how they look in the bottle, pigmented, bright, soft, blend-able. Its everything I want that even some 15 dollar loose shadows never gave me.

I seem to be catching myself gravitate towards these shadows on a daily basis. I was always nervous doing bright makeup and leaving the house. I never thought I was one of "those girls" The ones who rock the bright, crazy makeup while they're out and about but these shadows have changed that. I now look to see how I can use these shadows so I can have a more interesting eye look. And Nude is by far my favorite highlight of all time (right now. ha)

I am definitely planning on going out and buying all of the rest of these shadows. I think they'd be a great addition to any collection, especially if you love loose shadows.

Pros: Many color options, pigmented, blend-able, soft, price, the pearl finish <3
Cons: Can fade quickly, can go on streaky.

I recommend these to everyone, because every girl needs loose eye shadow. And for the price, I think the cons can be overlooked, besides, the cons can be fixed easily.
Two Thumbs Up

My Makeup Story

1. How old were you when you start wearing makeup?
Wellllllllll for the longest time I thought I was only a lipgloss addict, but that was because I wasn't allowed to wear makeup before I was 18, and when that birthday hit, all hell broke loose. So I was 18

2. How did you get into makeup?
I started making money, plain and simple. I was always interested in makeup, but had to pay for it myself, and when I was 18 I got a job and bam! Every Friday was makeup day.

3. What are some of your favorite brands?
Wet N' Wild definitely! If you read my blog or watch my YouTube videos you know I am all over that brand. I also like L'Oreal, ELF, Physicians Formula, Cargo, Urban Decay, Stila, Too Faced

4. What does makeup mean to you?
It is the way I can express myself. I was always on of those people who wanted to wear the crazy clothes, cut and dye their hair, get facial piercings or tattoos that can be seen when wearing clothes, but I was always to afraid, but with makeup, it's like art. I can be creative, crazy, colorful, muted, av-ant garde and its not permanent so I'm not afraid, because at the end of the day I can take it off....... Then do it all again in the morning :)

5. If you could only wear four products on your face what would they be?
Eye shadow, mascara, eye liner, lip gloss

6. What is your favorite thing about makeup?
That you can use it to express yourself, or give yourself a little boost.

7. What do you think about drugstore makeup vs high end makeup?
I am pro-drugstore. Yes I do buy high end makeup, but drug store brands are really stepping up their game, and sometimes the drugstore products are better than the high end!

8. What is one tip of advice you can give to a beginner?
Practice!! The saying practice makes perfect was created for a reason. If you're new to makeup then you're definitely not gonna be perfect at it, heck, you might not even be that good. But don't give up! Find the perfect technique for you and never give up

9. What is one makeup trend you never understood?
Baby blue frosty eye shadow with baby pink lipstick; Extremely over plucked and overly dark eyebrows; brown lip liner with clear lipgloss

10. What do you think about the beauty community on YouTube and Blogger?
I'm not really sure I can pinpoint a certain aspect, I love everything. and for every hater or someone who causes drama, there are 10 people supporting you and having your back. And even though it is competitive to be the first with the idea, or the most creative, most interesting, most of the people are very happy to give advice
I didn't get tagged, I just didn't for funsies, so I'm not tagging anyone. Just do it! You'll like it :)

*NEW* New Hair Using Punky Colour

SO I'm not sure I mentioned it on this blog, but for the past couple weeks the ends of my hair have been pink due to the fact that I dip dyed my hair a bright, almost neon purple using Splat! hair coloring kit. I was in LOVE. The kit came with bleach which I was skeptical about because typical at home bleaching kits never worked on my hair. But I decided to give it a try. And to my surprise the ends of my hair actually turned to a light white, the bleach worked! So my hopes where very high for the color after that and the color was outrageous. Take a look:
The color was gorgeous. But then the let downs began. I noticed (and maybe people agreed) that i dyed too little of my hair. This picture is at an odd angle so it doesn't show how long my hair actually is and how odd it looks to have such a tiny portion dyed. And then after my very first wash a few days later, that purple was gone, replacing it was a light, washed out pink. The Spalt! doesn't last!
So after two weeks of my disappointment I decided to dye it again. Turquoise and purple, which was my original idea. My friend recently dip dyed her hair a blue so I asked her what she used and she recommended Punky Colour. She said the color lasts better so I was sold. Now take a look:

I thought the color was going to be more true to the sticker on the cap, don't get me wrong because I love how it turned out, it just didn't turn out like I expected. The color is more true to the underside of the cap. Take a look:

I love it and think it looks like candy. My friends like it but still call me My Little Pony. HA
I parted my hair in half, and from there made 8 little pony tails on each side of my head, placing the hair tie where I wanted the color to end. Then i took every other pony tail and pinned it to the top of my head so I could dye the strands blue, after I got done with the blue I switched gloved, unpinned my hair and put the purple in and waited 30 mins. The color came out amazing, and has lasted longer than the Splat! so far. Even the Turquoise was able to cover up the pink in my hair without any problems.
I love it.
What do you think?

ELF 100 Pan Palette Oceanside Sunset Tutorial

So I decided that I didn't want to repeat something on my blog if I already did it on my YouTube (something I did before) and something I am going to do again. Right now. In this post. Only because i am so excited for this look, I truly love it so much. It is so simple, and affordable and colorful. I posted a picture of it on the Beauty Broadcast Facebook Page and a couple of other people helped me out with the name and what it looks like. Originally it was going to be a tropical sunrise look with the blue at the bottom representing the sky, but a lovely lady said it looks like a tropical sunset on the ocean and another lady called it an oceanside sunset.
Below are pictures and the tutorial on how i did it.
